Consolidating
your super funds into
one account can save on multiple annual member fees and provide opportunities for management fee discounts due to economies of scale of one large account over a few smaller accounts.

Be sure you evaluate both the administration fee and investment management fee when comparing investment or super products. They both exist, but can sometimes be difficult to find on face value.

Personal Insurance

Income Protection
Most people think to insure their physical assets but often forget their most important asset: themselves and their ability to earn an income. Income Protection provides payments to replace lost income where you are unable to work due to accident or illness. Generally, you can cover up to 75% of your income and receive monthly benefits up to age 65.

1 in 3 Australians are likely to become disabled through an
illness or injury for more than 3 months before they turn 65.**

Business Expenses
Business Expenses insurance will cover business operating expenses whilst you are unable to work due to sickness or injury. This product is ideal for the self-employed, partnerships and small businesses.

Death (Term Life)
No one likes to think about it but people “die before their time”.

  • Would your family be able to pay your debts?

  • Would they lose their family home?

  • Could your family continue the lifestyle without your income?

Death cover provides a lump sum payout to a nominated beneficiary in the event of death or terminal illness. How much cover you need depends upon your personal circumstances. Death cover can be held inside or outside superannuation.

Total & Permanent Disability (TPD)
TPD provides a lump sum benefit in the event you are unable ever to work again due to total and permanently disability. Its purpose can include using a payment to repay loans, pay for a personal carer, maintain the family’s lifestyle or cover the children’s education costs.

Critical Illness
Some traumas will leave you incapable of work for a period of time but after treatment, you may be able to return to your original lifestyle. Critical Illness (or Trauma) Insurance provides you a lump sum payment should you be diagnosed with one of a specified list of illnesses or injury, e.g. stroke, cancer, heart attack. The payment may be used to cover medical expenses, reduce debts and allow you some time off for recovery and recreation with your family after such a life changing event.
